Maquis Wildflower Honey
The Mediterranean maquis at its peak
Between June and September the Sardinian maquis is in full splendor. Myrtle, lentisk, rosemary, immortelle, cistus, budding arbutus, wild thyme.
The air is so dense with aromatic fragrances that it seems to enter a natural distillery. Our apiaries positioned in the heart of the maquis produce a honey that is the sum of all this: intense amber, complex aromas, a honey that tells the Sardinian summer like no other.
It is the honey that Sardinians have been eating for centuries with semolina bread, ricotta, almond sweets. It needs no certifications or awards: you know it by its fragrance.
Complex aromatic of Mediterranean maquis: myrtle, lentisk, thyme, resins. Warm amber, sweetness balanced by herbal freshness.
